The SOV features a fully modular winged design that enhances side ballistic protection when paired with soft armor inserts (sold separately). These integrated wings work seamlessly with the cummerbund to provide extended coverage without compromising flexibility or movement. The vest supports a wide array of load-bearing accessories including general-purpose pouches, communication gear, and magazine pockets via FirstSpear’s lightweight, durable 6/12™ laser-cut platform.
