The Helmet Hut v2 is built for professionals who demand more than just storage. Built on the same footprint as the original Helmet Hut, the v2 delivers streamlined, mission-ready upgrades and fits seamlessly into deployment bags and lockers without giving up critical space. External general-purpose pockets are now accessible on the fly and incorporate a mesh lining to vent moisture after maritime or wet ops. A rear vent with a drip shield and stiff cable port keeps gear breathing while protecting sensitive electronics. With four reinforced corner D-rings, the v2 provides upgraded capabilities to lash down, sling, or secure to larger packs under any conditions.
Inside the v2 you’ll find a dedicated seven-cell battery rack, paired with a secondary row for button cells, ensuring power is always on hand for NODs and mission-critical devices. The upgraded nod-tent uses 4-way stretch and shock cord retention to lock down dual-tube systems and utilizes the helmet itself to add an extra layer of protection up top. Adjustable from Small to XXL, the helmet retention system is built to handle modern lids with rails, shrouds, and attachments already in place. Accessory pockets on both sides give operators quick-stow storage solutions for accessories such as a G24 mount, chemlights, or other small kit.
